Performance
Melody is to Music as Reality is to Photography
Music and Cinema move through time. Silence is the architecture of music. The photography of motion extends the question posited by the image. The note is the figure on ground, the spatial negative of time. Light Source / Sound Source. Music helps the ears understand the eyes. Performance is an interaction, a correspondence involving the spectator in a crucial role. For an artist the syntax of examined subject / idea is only apparent in the final work. |
